Nysted Harbour
Nysted’s gem is the harbour, where you can see the wind shaking the sailboats while you eat a cold or refreshing ice cream from one of the quay’s shops. From Nysted harbour you can see Aalholm Castle, which is a historical witness from the 14th century wars to the 18th century agrarian reforms.

Not far from Nysted Beach Camping you find the family-friendly beach with the calm sea and stunning view. Nysted Beach is also called “Skansen” (the entrenchment) because it is close to the town’s old fortifications. The beach is ideal for playing on hot summer days because there are nets for volleyball and a jetty. If the temperature gets too hot, you can go into the shade from the trees.
