Activities at Nysted Beach Camping
Throughout the camping season, Nysted Beach Camping offers fun and family-friendly activities. We celebrate i.a. Sankt Hans (Danish midsummer), where the witch is set on fire on beach while singing the traditional midsummer songs.
We have the following activities on the campsite:
- Catch, cook, and eat your shrimp. Experience life at the sea with a nature guide, where we catch shrimps and eat them afterwards. Every Wednesday in July, at 10.00.
- Every week throughout the summer we have a weekly bonfire evening, where we make bread, popcorn and, for the adults, grilled bananas with Baileys.
- Seal Safari. From Nysted Harbour we sail to the seal colony at Rødsand with a beautiful view of the coast of Lolland and the rich plant and bird life. There are daily sailings in July and August, but reservations are required.
