Activities at Nysted Beach Camping

Throughout the camping season, Nysted Beach Camping offers fun and family-friendly activities. We celebrate i.a. Sankt Hans (Danish midsummer), where the witch is set on fire on beach while singing the traditional midsummer songs.

We have the following activities on the campsite:

Catch, cook, and eat your shrimp. Experience life at the sea with a nature guide, where we catch shrimps and eat them afterwards. Every Wednesday in July, at 14.00.
Kayak Sailing. You go to Holten Beach with a nature guide, and you learn how to sail a kayak. The kayak can be rented and more information is provided at the campsite.
Pony riding. Every Tuesday and Thursday during the schools’ summer holidays, we offer pony riding at the campsite.
Every week throughout the summer we have a weekly bonfire evening, where we make bread, popcorn and, for the adults, grilled bananas with Baileys.
Seal Safari. From Nysted Harbour we sail to the seal colony at Rødsand with a beautiful view of the coast of Lolland and the rich plant and bird life. There are daily sailings in July and August, but reservations are required.
Nature Quiz. Answer 10 nature questions correctly and win an ice cream.

Wir waren im Oktober 2021 dort. Sind in der Nacht angereist. Der Schlüssel für die Hütte wurde in einem zugänglichen Briefkasten gelegt. Wir hatten die neueren Hütten ganz vorne zum See hin. Top Aussicht. Besonders morgens! Die Hütte an sich war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Heizung ging ebenfalls. Toll eingerichtet. Und die Küche hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Wichtig ist nur dass man sich dänische Adapter für die Steckdosen mitbringt. Ich hatte etwas bedenken, wegen Spinnen. Aber auch die Angst wurde mir genommen. Im Bad in der Fensterbank waren etwas Spinnenweben. Aber nicht schlimm. Aushaltbar für mich mit Phobie. Ansonsten alles in allem eine top Hütte mit einer tollen Küche. Einziges Manko war die Dusche, wenn zwei Personen hintereinander duschen möchten, erhielt derjenige der als letztes duscht, kaltes Wasser. Es bleibt am Anfang gerade mal ca. 3 Minuten warm. Wir haben es dem Personal mitgeteilt und der nette Herr kam auch sofort her und überprüfte den Boiler draußen und stellte ihn etwas höher. Dann ging es. Das Personal ist sehr nett, höflich und bemüht! Alles in allem würden wir aufjedenfall wiederkommen! Sehr schöne Anlage im Herzen von Nysted. Wir hatten einen wunderschöen Mutter-Tochter Urlaub und die Dänen sind wirklich herzensgute Menschen.

Dejligt område og natur, men et lidt træt personale efter en god sæson. Kneb lidt med vedligeholdelse af pladserne, men ellers gode og rene lokaler.
